Crochet 2013

So I seem to have got into doing a lot of crocheting these days.  I have had a few finishes this year.  They are;

Corner to corner afghan that was a house warming for Jarrad and Megan.  Finished this in February when Dad was in hospital for the last time.

Our Grandson Lachlin's birthday present just gone in August.  It is a pirate afghan.

Our Son Kenric turned 30 this year as well as his first year out as a doctor.  Doctors should have skeletons, so I crocheted him one for his birthday

Our grand daughter's first slippers for winter.

Evangeline's first birthday present.  A mermaid

Our daughter-in-law, Marilyn's birthday present.

I also have some WIPS (surprise, surprise)

At the moment I am trying to get an afghan finished for Anthony's birthday.  That was last week.

This one is called textured squares and I need thirty of them.  Five are done and joined and I have 25 completed to the last square in the pictured.  I have one more colour and then the variegated colour which is last will be the last join on each square and I join as I go.  Then a border.
